Shalom! I have been a proud part of the Adat Ari El community for over 32 years, first as a member, then as a teacher, then as Cantor. This is truly a second home to me and my family: my husband, Mel, and our daughters, Ronit and Yael.
My main goal in my work as a Cantor is to bring the spirit and love that I feel in Jewish prayer and music to as many people as I can reach. Our liturgy has much to tell us about how to live every day, and our music can bring that message to our hearts with great emotion. All we need to do is to be open to hearing and feeling it.
My past work includes positions with AJU and the LA Philharmonic Institute. I’m involved with the Cantors Assembly and sit on the board of LA Hebrew High School. I’m an original member and Associate Conductor of the LA Zimriyah Chorale.
My passion is singing Israeli folk/pop songs, as well as Broadway tunes. I love working with our Day School and JLC students. And I adore working with our B’nai Mitzvah candidates.
