Carmit Baram, Bassonist

Carmit Baram, a bassoonist, graduated with honors Bachelors in Music and Masters in Music studies in bassoon performance at the Buchman – Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University. Carmit was a winner in annual competitions on various occasions and was a scholar recipient of the American Israel Cultural Foundation. She has been the principal bassoonist of the Buchman – Mehta Music School’s Symphony Orchestra for five years. Carmit was a principal bassoonist at the Israel Camerata Orchestra and the Tel Aviv Chamber Orchestra.
 
Carmit gained a lot of orchestral experience with – the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, Rishon L’Zion Symphony Orchestra, Ra’anana’s Symphony Orchestra, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the LA Jewish Symphony and more.
 
She has played under the direction of Maestro Zubin Mehta, Mandy Rodan, Dan Ettinger, Avner Biron, Daniel Oren, Asher Fish, and others.
